Relaxing day @ our nude beach
A great bunch of 8 savvy naturists met up at the beach strip next to Bali Hai pier on Sunday morning 13 September – complete with lunch boxes, cold beer, cold water, sun lotion and god spirit – ready to go out and sopend the day nude on our special island.
The waves were quite rough on the way out. Not much wind, but somehow the waves were still high. Some tops even broke over and foamed a bit. With that kind of sea, our nude island, Koh Pai, is quite a boat ride away. But eventually we got there.
We were three couples and two singles and we all started settling under the trees, collecting garbage leftover from the previous visitors – I wish all visitors would do like naturists… bring out more trash than you bring in!!
Our boat captain helped drag some umbrellas over and we got a lunch tabled set up before the first dip. The water was crystal clear, but once you started swimming, I would once in a while swim into those fragmented pieces of tentacles from jellyfish – they give a sting, but there is no jellyfish to be seen. I imagine the tentacles have been cut off by a speedboat propeller or something. It kept me from going for a longer swim off shore.
Back on the beach we found that the previous visitors had been considerate enough to left a bottle of vinegar among their garbage. That is the first time if have seen that! Vinegar works with the seriously poisonous box jelly fix. If you get entangled, do not try to scrape off the strings of tentacles – it will only make more little celles explode on your skin. You must pour vinegar on the tentacles first – that paralyses the cellls containing the poison and you can carefully lift off the string without hurting yourself even more. So far, the closest spotting of box jellyfish in the Golf of Thailand has been at Koh Pangan but that is only about four-five hundred kilometers south of Koh Pai.
Nobody had brought a beach ball or a Frisbee along – I guess the organizers should be blamed for that – so we only spent time chatting, sleeping, walking, swimming – but a day spent nude with friends is always well spent!
Enjoy the photos. Only paid up members can join events organized by Naturist Association Thailand – and therefore also only paid up members can read the full report. So the number of people who can see the photos are only cleared members. DO NOT SPREAD PHOTOS AND VIDEOS OUTSIDE, PLEASE.
