Chan Resort: ‘I have never regretted going naturist”

Chan Resort in Pattaya celebrated its 8 year anniversary with over 30 regular fans of Thailand’s first naturist resort – and a several new ones were also there on Saturday 21 September 2019.

“I have never regretted going naturist,” Mr. Chan said in a comment to a speech by Gregers Moller about how much naturism in Thailand owes to his dedication to us in the early years and how it is not always easy to teach newbies to stay on the right path.

“Seeing you here and welcoming you back is a great joy to us,” he added on behalf of himself, his wife Khun Dao and Chan Resort’s popular front line manager Khun Jaa.

The resort was sold out for the event and several well-wishers stayed at Phannon accross the road and elsewhere in the city. Bruce Kendall came around and looked proud as a grandfather – he and Jai were more involved than anybody else in the early years of setting up of Chan Resort – but he didn’t stay for the dinner.

The party started at four in the afternoon with a duck race accross the pool. The job is to blow your duck from one side of the pool to arrive as the first duck at the opposite shore. Nicnamed “the blowjob” it has become a regular at the NATCON Games every year. The race had two winners, Unni B. Sekkesæter from Norway and Chan Kok Seng from Malaysia. They got to keep their duckling – and the honour.

Unni said afterwards: “I cannot wait to see my friends reactions when I tell them, how I won this little duck – in a blowjob competition in Pattaya! They will not dare to ask for the details – until I tell them”

Then we tried out the carnival accessories that we had had fun withat NATCON earliert in the year. We had brought them all, and they got new life with new naturists.

No birthday without a balloons, so all guests were given around five to ten ballons and soon the swimming pool was in a rainbow of colours with floating balloons.

Just before dinner, one of the resident guests said, she thought it was a pitty if we didn’t go in for a full waterbattle with the balloons. So we did..

We quickly got two teams set up. The rules were simple: Team A, get all your yellow ballons down to the other end and Team B, get all your red balloons to the other side. A fierce battle ensued and as the loosers requested a revanche, another two minutes were added. Giving an equal outcome.

Tired, but happy, all went for the delicious buffet which was waiting for us. Big spare ribs, Pad Thai, soups and curry dishes, plain rice and fried rice – and afterwards endless cones or cups of coconut icecream. It was during this dinner, that Gregers Moller held a short speech congratulating Chan Resort with the Anniversary and giving Khun Chan, Khun Dao and Jaa and bottle of Champagne.

The karaoke singing and dancing didn’t take off. The few people, who did sing – Jaa and myself of course – enjoyed themselves, but the others mostly enjoyed chatting with each other.

The night was quiet and the rain did not come before midnight, but at that time, everybody had gone to bed already.
