First trip to the new island resort
The first trip to the newly found private island resort ran into an unexpected surprise – for all involved. The representative, that we had made arrangements with, was not aware that the owner of the resort had permitted a TV production crew to shoot on the same location on the same day as we were going to be running around naked. This disaster was not fully realised until we had all disembarked and stood there, looking bewildered at each other.
As a compromise, the owner arranged for us to use one of the other beaches on her island and served us our lunch over there instead, so we did had a nice day on that naked beach, but it was of course not what we had set our high hopes for. Consequently, we still have to experience the maiden voyage to this new island resort in all its glory for the first time – which will now be on 25 September.

The meeting up on the pier was smooth. There is a parking opportunity at the end of the pier and also along the pier itself, so this was a nice surprise. The boat was exceptionally well-kept with fresh paint and no rust anywhere even the boat was over ten years old. It is regularly used for fishing trips for groups and has a nice upper deck and a lower deck with room for total up to 40 persons.
I spent most of the time – 40 minutes – sailing over to the resort chatting with our island resort representative. It was only when we got near the beach, that we both spotted the TV production crew. Puzzled, the representative said they must be packing up and about to leave and we may have to wait a bit before we got naked.
This is how we landed from the tour boat and onto the main beach on the island. The main boat stayed well off the island and little shuttle boat would ferry us in to the beach. It could get close enough to the shore for the ladder to be placed next to the railing and we could then climb down that way.
We all went ashore and I and Poo went to talk to the crew, who had no plans of leaving. They were on the contrary going to shoot the full rest of the day and we would completely destroy there setting if we stayed – with or without clothes. The owner and her assistant came over and everybody was obviously embarrassed about the miscommunication between our representative and the resort.
Eventually the compromise to give us the naked beach was reached and we – minus two members, who stayed put on the main beach – then sailed around the island to the beach on the East side. The beach there was not generally used and there was washed-up plastic bottles and other trash but not more than could be accepted. It also had a few trees providing adequate shade. So we settled down there. The water was crystal clear and inviting, but we had to be careful where we went in, as there were sharp shells to one side on the beach – which some of the participants found out the bad way.

I went on an exploration to the inland of the island, which took me across the island to the West coast beach. The trail, we had expected going around the island, had long been reclaimed by the bush vegetation on the island, but it was still quite easy to cross over from one beach to the other. Here, there was less garbage, but also less shade, so although a few other members tried to explore the other beach too, we stayed as a group on the East beach, which is where they came around with our lunch. This turned out to be delicious and would have been even more delicious, if we had been eating it at the proper tables on the main beach.
Among the positive outcomes of the mistake was, that we are from now on communicating and making arrangements directly with the owner. She had not been informed about naturism and that we were naturists, but was very relaxed about it.
“Oh, it’s like Onsen spa,” she said, ” – just different in the way you are not separated in men and women. Well, I don’t see any problem with that.”
The owner has also asked, if we think it wold be a good idea for her to establish a semi-permanent shelter on the naked beach, so that we could rent this on other dates apart from the last Wednesday of every month and get more flexibility that way. We have left this option open as we now look forward to the first “real” trip to the private resort on the main beach. That will be on Wednesday 25 September.

It happens, mere miscommunication, and it will work out just fine for the next trips, the owner looks to be very understanding and supportive too.
This is a great place and definitely is a very enjoyable event
I am soooo glad that this trip was successful despite the big surprise!! We are definitely going to do this as soon as we can arrange a Wednesday off. I have a couple of questions to ask . .not sure if here is the right place or not. But will also ask in the open forum. How many people went after all? Can you tell more about the paths around the island and the opportunity to walk along trails or hike? Is the island “wooded” are there trees? Bicycling? The boat BTW looks just terrific. This is a real coup Gregers! . . .and an owner who is now aware of this very lucrative niche market!
Looks good and expective
After all the miscommunication or whatever, you all enjoyed and steps taken for future journey. Good
