Help Put Thailand on the Global Naturist Map

I have just completed the new Global Naturist Research Survey, and I would like to encourage every member of Naturist Association Thailand to do the same.

For many years, discussions about naturism have often relied on assumptions rather than facts. We know our community is growing, but surprisingly little reliable international data exists about who naturists are, how we enjoy the lifestyle, where we travel, and what challenges we face.

The Queensland Naturist Association in Australia has now launched what it describes as the first anonymous global survey designed to build a comprehensive picture of the worldwide naturist community. The survey is available in 24 languages, takes around 15 minutes to complete, and will remain open for three months. The organisers say all responses are completely anonymous and that no names, email addresses or other identifying information are collected.

I found the questionnaire well designed and easy to complete. It covers topics such as participation in naturism, travel, clubs and resorts, beaches, activities, attitudes, challenges and the future of the naturist movement.

Why is this important for Thailand?

Thailand has become one of Asia’s leading naturist destinations. Every year we welcome visitors from around the world, while our own community continues to grow. If enough people living in or visiting Thailand participate in the survey, the final report will provide a much clearer picture of the role Thailand plays in the global naturist movement.

Reliable information can help clubs, resorts, associations and federations plan for the future. It can also provide useful evidence when discussing naturism with tourism authorities, local governments, researchers and other decision-makers.

I therefore encourage all members and friends of Naturist Association Thailand to take a few minutes to complete the survey and to share it with other naturists.

Every response counts. Together we can help ensure that Thailand is well represented in what could become the most comprehensive international study of naturism ever undertaken.
