Dragonfly Naturist Village

Dragonfly Naturist Village open in the spring of 2021. The resort is located north of Pattaya a short distance off the motorway from Bangkok and Suvarnabhumi airport.

When Dragonfly Naturist Village is Thailand's largest naturist resort with almost 10.000 sq.m. of land. In one end, there is a big lake, which has a jogging trail of 250 meters around it. The huge pool is complemented with smaller pools in the Onsen area of the resort. Right next to the pool there are six exclusive pool side chalets. Right behind these front-line chalets, there is a row of large, ground-floor rooms with a big private sun porch behind each of them. On the top of each, there is a second row of rooms with large windows facing the forest behind the resort.

Key staff from the old Phuan Naturist Village - which closed permanently during Covid - has moved much of the ambiance from that resort to Dragonfly Naturist Village. Mrs. Jai Kendall will be the new General Manager, Internal Affairs. Khun Jai has already secured Khun Apple from the old Phuan resort to be in charge of House Keeping at Dragonfly. On Social Media, you have Bruce Kendall, who will no doubt soon have made Dragonfly as well-known as he did first with Chan Resort and next with Phuan Naturist Village.

"We all had too much stress last year," says Jai Kendall. "This spring, Dragonfly will be the answer when you want to recharge yourselves".

The 2.5 acres (6.5 Thai rai) private property has lots of trees and lush natural areas to roam around. The swimming pool is 20-meter by 8-meter swimming pool with a wide sun deck. A Village Hall will have plenty of gym equipment and a pool table, a café and bar with full service all day long.

"We are located in a quiet country setting only 10 KM from Pattaya," says Kenny "You can follow our Map or we can arrange to pick you up at Terminal 21 Mall in Pattaya. When coming from Bangkok or Suvarnabhumi-BKK airport you don’t even have to go into Pattaya to arrive at Dragonfly Naturist Village. If you are flying into U-Tapao, or Bangkok airports let us know and we can pick you up."

  1. Good to see naturism looking forward to a time when this pandemic is over and we can all travel again. Very hopeful for this year…. Let’s hope anyway.

    Regards from lockdown London

  2. Sounds good to me, although the finished physical product and service standards and facilities will be the deciding factor for me. I enjoyed my previous stays at Phuan (with a few exceptions) so this resort has the chance to take its place in Pattaya. I wonder about ‘the lake” .. .what is it’s purpose apart from breeding mosquitos?
It will be some time before tourists come back to Thailand (don’t put your trust in politicians) so I hope that locals will try Dragonfly and give us a report.

  3. The first good new for one year !
Hoping it will not be the only one for 2021…
Anyway, good beginning for the new year.

I tried to copy some photos to this message but couldn’t.
It is located opposite a temple and pllice station so that might be a problem but its set a long way back and not really overlooked. Anything that gets customers through the door is worth trying, in my view.

  4. Great news to begin the New year.. I’m pretty sure that Dragonfly will be our new friend.. (Read phuan?)

  5. Whow, this was realy good news! We realy miss the Phuan Naturist Village, but hope now this Dragonfly Naturist Village will be a good substitute and even more.
We will go as soon the pandemic restrictions are cancelled and the resort is opened!
Best regards from Evelyn & Magnor (Philippines)

  6. Dragonfly taking shape and looks great. Cannot wait for travel restrictions to be lifted so we can get over there and meet up with great fiends again. I’m sure it will be well used by those of us that went to Phuan. Good luck to Kenny, Jai and Bruce.

  7. Good news at the start of this year. With this staff it will be as good as Phuan. Congratulations Jai, Bruce and Apple. Hope we can be with you next December. Gr. V&W.

  8. This is great.. I really admire the management.. NAT .. and everyone that supports the tourism for Dragonfly. I applaud Jai, Kenny and Bruce plus all those behind the scenes to make this happen in an ultra difficult environment considering long term travel visas.. Covid.. airline restructuring and so on. A very challenging environment.
Phuan was such a special visit and I am looking forward to seeing Dragonfly once the clouds of uncertainty float away throughout 2021

    1. Gregers… when you get a moment to catch your breath, can you do a write up or quick review about the opening and whats happening in the next few months at DragonFly? (I’m not sure if you have much to do with the current website layout but the new set up is pretty good)
