Nice to hear that you are organizing a meetup. This is a must for naturist activities to flourish else we will all be discussing stuff in socaial media and never getting down to real meets . More power to your initiative . There are others also who are planning similar meetups and we all need to get our energies together at some point of time .

I will be away in the US during that time . Else would have attended .

A good first step to be for each one of us to introduce ourselves in this group and let know what drives us to enjoy naturism . Also be morew active on these forums by putting in your thoughts on naturism and experiences . I have always believed that photographs on social media are not the true indicator of an individual . Which is why we are looking for meets in person. And for an ice breaker meet , it need not even be clothesfree.

@Vivid Oh we have semi regular meetups in Kolkata and Hyderabad all the time. I have hosted about half a dozen meetups already. So for me its nothing new. Plus, I have already met and interacted with most of the invited participants before.

This being India, safety of the participants is of paramount importance. So our meetups are never open to all. Especially those meetups where women are present.
As of now, we have no idea who you are as you have rarely interacted with anyone, we dont even know what you look like. So naturally, we can’t invite you.

I have always mentioned that meetups are the best way to connect with people . If people are uncomfortable meeting up initiatlly “au naturel “, a clothed meet can also work to break the ice and getting to know each other . Social media interaction can never compensate for the same .

Guys let me tell you about us in short. We are happily married couple. I am a mariner; presently working with Abu Dhabi govt. my wife is a senior educationist. We have traveled many places across the globe and stayed over in some of the naturist resorts but none of in India so far.
For us naturism is healthiest way of life. Naturism liberate us from unnecessary shackles put by society and norms .Naked people really look like everyone else so we think the idea of accepting your body and other people’s bodies is really healthy. Our society needs all kinds of tolerance and this is a good place to start. Our conclusion is that nudism is definitely not about sex. On the other hand, that doesn’t mean people never take a good look at one another.
We’re humans you can’t help it. Sometimes we find ourselves glancing at people and thinking, ‘That’s what that looks like!’ You could really marvel at all the surgical scars, like they were wearing their medical history on their bodies.

Thanks for the detailed introduction and also for your views about naturism .Tolerance is something which is short supply in today’s world . We are all made equal, maybe some of us carry more scars than others but end of the day , all are made equal .

Hi Sanjay@fabrorichard, thank you so much for introducing yourself and even better for putting up a face pic. The face makes a hell of a difference just knowing who you are talking to instead of a generic shadow or pic.
And of course nudism is nothing to do with sex. Its about liberty, peace and acceptance. Lets face it our colors, shapes and sizes may be different but we are all cut from the same cloth. As for scars, marks, spots or anything those are completely natural and are a mark of life. Who amongst us doesnt have any scar or mark or ‘blemish’?
We are not our bodies, the bodies are just the external armour so to speak and thus there is nothing to be ashamed about our bodies. Its our souls that make us who we are, its our souls that control our actions and thus a person’s nature, genuinesness, kindness, honesty etc are to do with the soul and action – the body has nothing to do with it and thus nobody should be judged based on the body.
Finally, since you have come forward and introduced yourselves, it is my duty and pleasure to invite you guys for any of our meets as per your convenience. Just to reiterate, so far there is a meet scheduled on 24th August Saturday in Pune, one on 25th August Sunday in Mapusa near Panaji, and one on 27th August in Bangalore.

@mumbainudist Meetup is only on Saturday. On Sunday there is a meetup in a different city. Have you met any other nudists before? Can anyone vouch for you? If someone can, then I will send you the details separately. Also, pls introduce yourself and put up a face pic.

I have met a few nudists from India. But I don’t know if they are known to you or are a part of your group. So I really can’t tell you if anyone can vouch for me. I had booked my tickets and even paid full fare for the NATCON 2019. However, due to an unscheduled work related travel, I could not go. Thank you for your reply, I am new to this group and don’t know anyone personally in this group,
We had been to Nudist resort in Phuket and then to nudist beach in Europe and Nudist resort in Europe.
There we made few fiends mostly from Germany.

Now honestly speaking what I found that true Naturist are very open minded and we felt the same.
Regarding Nudism in India we never came across any people with that mind set in our known group.

This forum is a great platform to share our experience and feeling about nudism, Still we are pretty new to share the photographs of ours, we may take some time and most of the picture posted are silhouetted are pics without proper face.

So I request you not to be so hard about posting the pic, we can improve the understanding by written conversation, and we still don’t know how many of the members are true nudist and enjoy the bliss or had experiences of naturism.

Still if you can throw some light on this meets then we will be interested and we may have to travel a distance to participate.
Hope your input may help many other members of this group.
