Anyone that wants to sleep over are more than welcome\, just let us know when you sign up. We have a couple of couches you can use. Flying there will cost much less and hopefully we will become a big group of NAT members meeting up in Australia for this event. \n \nThis year\, the festival has a tightly packed schedule with big music names on the stage with Adam Brand as the probably most well-known star. Adam Brand is one of Australia’s most commercially successful and popular recording artists. He is joined by this fabulous lineup of music artists: Matt Cornell\, Liam Brew\, Tori Darke\, Jeremy Turner\, Keegan J Sparke\, Sister Mister\, Contraband and The Mulhoons Band. Did you miss Woodstock in 1969? So\, don’t miss this one! \nAnd on Sunday 29th January\, you will have an opportunity to be 3000ft above the ground\, naked in a Hot Air Balloon! \nThursday 26 January will be arrival day for many of the campers. It’s going to be a laid-back day where festival goers will be setting up camp in readiness for the next 3 days. As it’s Australia Day\, we will be listening to all the Aussie hits\, playing some cricket\, and generally just settling in for what is going to be a fun filled time. If you don’t have a tent\, the festival offers “glamping rentals”. \n \nFriday is “Boot Skootin Friday” with country music and all the loves\, losses\, hardships\, and pain that’s built into this music. In the morning\, a keynote speaker will be talking about body positivity and providing tools that will allow us to be more comfortable in the skin we are in. Using nudism and the slogan “I am me” we can strip back the layers to expose one’s real self. More accepting\, more loving towards ourselves. In the afternoon\, the “Boot Skooting” starts with Tori Darke\, Jeremy Turner\, Liam Brew\, Matt Cornell and Adam Brand plying until 22.00 \nSaturday is “Fair Day” with stalls selling homemade goods and supporting small businesses in the community nearby. This is also a chance for other naturist clubs and resorts to promote themselves amongst like minded people. Get involved in some naked yoga as well. There will also be games\, Egg and Spoon Race\, Laddle Race\, 3 Legged Race\, Sack Race\, Egg Peg\, Aussie Thong Throw\, Water Balloon Toss\, Balloon Race. When the fair ends\, the music takes over with Contraband and Sister Mister playing until 10pm \nSunday morning\, you will wake up at 3am by someone walking around the campsite banging a pot with a wooden spoon. This is for all the Hot Air Balloon goers not to miss take off to the most epic adventure you may ever do! Imagine being 3000ft above the ground\, naked in a Hot Air Balloon. It is a truly peaceful yet liberating experience. Upon return to camp\, Sunday chill sessions begin before its time to pack up and return to the real world once again \nThe Nude Up Festival is the creation of Josh and Kimberley Smith. They have been living the nudist lifestyle for many years\, and are passionate about the lifestyle and they wanted to create something that brings like-minded individuals together. Something that celebrates the freedom that nudism brings\, and the inclusivity that it promotes\, with a strong focus on body positivity. And so\, this epic event that celebrates self-freedom\, mind clarity\, positive body image\, and fun (Lots of fun!)\, was born! \nJosh is an Australian Naturists Federation (ANF) committee member and thrives on what nudism and body positivity can do for one’s mental health. In January 2021\, Josh and Kimberley held their first ever event which was focused on Naked Hot Air Ballooning. This came to fruition after their youngest son expressed his interest in a Hot Air Balloon ride after witnessing them near on every day in the area that they live. \n“We put the idea to a small group of nudism friends one evening around a campfire at our favourite nudist retreat. We suggested\, “How about we go Naked Hot Air Ballooning?” This is how Nude Up Australia Festival first started.” \n \nThe first year saw 27 participants fly high above the beautiful and picturesque Scenic Rim in Queensland\, Australia. Pictures created from that one balloon ride went viral in Australia and overseas. This was the catalyst to build on that initial Naked Hot Air Balloon ride and create a weekend-long festival for 2022\, a first of its kind in Australia! \nFrom a one morning baloon ride the event grew to be a three-day festival which included camping\, glamping tents for hire\, food trucks and bands for entertainment. \nThe Nude Up Australia Festival will in 2023 come back bigger and better than ever before! Naturists from NZ\, the UK\, France and America – and now also from Thailand – have already expressed interest but with the main focus on creating an inclusive\, body positive event for our Australian following. There are lounge chairs\, plenty of shade under casuarina trees and basic showers and toilets . . .but it is otherwise deliciously unspoiled.\nBeach fees are 300 baht per person and 300 baht per tent. \n1. We start off the event on Kaew Beach around 5:00 pm Sunday to set up tents and the BBQ grill. Bring something to grill\, something to share or something to drink. There is a small shop on the premises for beer\, soda and other essentials.\nNOTE: You may arrive early while non Naturist folks are winding up their picnics. That’s OK\, but no nudity until the beach has cleared. \n2. Overnight camping. If you do not wish to camp\, you are welcome to find and arrange nearby hotels. (If you dont have a tent\, check around. Members with large tents often offer a spot for the night.) Nighttime Sunday features a campfire and a really amazing moonlight walk on the beach with lots of looking up at the stars and enjoying the night sky. ( The campfire is a big hit with people sitting around it chatting late into the night.) We are lulled to sleep by the gentle surf. \n3. Sunrise on Kaew Beach is just fantastic! You can choose to sleep in or wake up early for yoga on the beach. All day Monday is spent enjoying the beach\, relaxing in the lounge chairs and swimming in the clear water. It is a VERY clean beach! Last time featured a few games for people to join as desired and it proved wonderful fun for all. \n(PLEASE NOTE: You can just attend the Sunday BBQ or just come for the day on the beach Monday.) If you arrive to find the gate by the road locked . .PLEASE call ( mobile contact on LINE or message us. The beach owner has reserved the beach for us and keeps the gate locked. We are happy to get the gate unlocked for you at any time. \nFINAL NOTE: ALL NATURISTS WELCOME! The Cha Am/ Hua Hin group page and activities are open to ALL Naturists and we welcome single men and women\, couples\, newbies and veteran Naturists. We don’t discriminate. She is happy to get whatever we give her\, but we have established a 5000 baht minimum total fee for hosting us and we make up any shortfall from our pocket.\n(And of course we pay all fees ourselves. We made up a 300 baht shortfall the last time)\nThe current fees are 300 for a tent and now 300 baht for attendance with an eye toward raising the 5000 baht minimum. We feel this keeps the event affordable for everyone who wants to attend as well as keeping the site owners happy.\nWe collect the fees around noon on Monday and add in the food bill for the grand total. The landlady will make dishes to order and share. . . and this food bill is divided among the attendees. All drinks (coffee\, beer\, soda) and snacks ordered from the little store need to be paid for in cash when you buy them. Feel free to bring something to share and/or add to the BBQ which is supported by the NAT “Barefoot” contingent.\nBottom line here: we want to keep this event going on a monthly basis. DESCRIPTION:This weekend\, we will bring a slideshow and tell all the background stories from NATCON’23 that just took place in Oriental Beach Village north of Phuket. \nAll naturists are welcome to join this once-a-month event on Kaew Beach north of Cha-am\, a 2 hours drive from Bangkok. We will start putting up tents around 5 pm on Sunday\, but you may come earlier. If you cannot come until Monday morning for breakfast – or even later – you are still very welcome! This is a monthly mind-soothing opportunity to break away from the clothed and stressful world. We embrace all naturists – singles\, couples\, what have you 🙂 \nIf your partner is not a naturist\, this is a great opportunity to bring him or her along. There is no pressure on anybody to be naked as long as he or she is comfortable with us being naked. \nPLEASE RSVP so we know how many we will be!! The cost is 400 baht per person / 300 baht per tent. \nThe gatherings at Kaew Beach are seldom big and crowded! Plenty of opportunity to relax\, nap\, read and . . . of course . . . walk the beach and swim. We hold these BBQ beach days every month by special arrangement with the beach management. Kaew Beach is not a nude beach except for the two scheduled days. The regulars know how special this is. . .please drop by and see this for yourself! \nAround 5:00 pm Sunday we start to set up tents and the BBQ grill. Bring something to grill\, something to share or something to drink. There is a small shop on the premises for beer\, soda and other essentials. Wait until the textiles have left before you undress. \nIf you do not wish to camp\, you are welcome to arrange accommodation at one of the many small nearby resorts. (If you don’t have a tent\, check around. Members with large tents often offer a spot for the night.) Nighttime Sunday features a campfire and a really amazing moonlight walk on the beach with lots of looking up at the stars and enjoying the night sky. (Often there is singing and a little dancing on the beach!!) We are lulled to sleep by the gentle surf. \nSunrise is just fantastic! You can choose to sleep in or wake up early for yoga on the beach. All day Monday is spent enjoying the pristine beach\, relaxing in the lounge chairs and swimming in the clear water. It is a very clean beach! If there are enough folks attending a few very entertaining games can be arranged! \nAs mentioned above\, you can just attend the Sunday BBQ or just come for the day on the beach Monday. \nIf you arrive to find the gate by the road locked . .PLEASE call ( mobile contact on LINE or message us. The beach owner has reserved the beach for us and keeps the gate locked. We are happy to get the gate unlocked for you at any time. \nALL NATURISTS WELCOME! The Cha Am/ Hua Hin group page and activities are open to ALL Naturists and we welcome single men and women\, couples\, newbies and veteran Naturists. We don’t discriminate. Please join us for an enjoyable event you wont soon forget! \n_________________________________________________________________________ \nFinancial information in the interest of full transparency. \nThe Hua Hin/ Cha Am organizing committee does not profit from these monthly events. Every satang goes directly to the landlady representing the family that owns the site. (This is not a wealthy family as evidenced by the charmingly rustic facilities.) We collect the fees for her. She is happy to get whatever we give her\, but we have established a 5000 baht minimum total fee for hosting us and we make up any shortfall from our pocket. \nThe current fees are 300 for a tent and 400 baht for attendance with an eye toward raising the 5000 baht minimum. We feel this keeps the event affordable for everyone who wants to attend as well as keeping the site owners happy. \nWe collect the fees around noon on Monday and add in the food bill. The landlady will make dishes to order and share. . . and this food bill is divided among the attendees. All drinks (coffee\, beer) and snacks ordered from the little store need to be paid for in cash when you buy them. Feel free to bring something to share and/or add to the BBQ which is supported by the NAT “Barefoot” contingent. \nBottom line here: we want to keep this event going on a monthly basis.
